There are a few safety precautions I would like to alert you to on the new DragonukConnects.com site.

It is Brian's hope and goal to make this site a safe community, a family of entertainment professionals, who all have the goal of furthering their careers in this industry. Brian's job is for you to CONNECT. Connect talent and crew with employers and resource providers. And with each other. On first glance this site may seem to be just a social networking site, but in reality it is a professional job site. The more connections you make in the industry, the better chance you will have of securing jobs.

We do know that the web can be a dangerous place whether you are a child or an adult. That is why we have installed the following various settings throughout the site.

1. Only paid members can communicate with each other. Although you may feel this was Brian's 10 year scheme to make a buck, the system is designed this way so scammers stay out of our community.
2. "Block this person" - Whenever you go to a profile, under every photo will be a "Block this person" button. When you hit that button on their profile, they will not be able to interact with you.
3. "Report this person" - Under every profile photo will be a "Report this Person" button. If you feel that someone has gone beyond the stage of just connecting in a business-like fasion, feel free to click the report this person button, let us know what's going on, and we will take the proper steps to fixing the problem. We do have the right to delete whomever we need to from the system.
4. "Deny the connection" - If someone asks you to connect and you don't know them, just say no. For further info click on the following article: What are connections for on DragonukConnects.com? In a nutshell, connections should be your address book for people you know and those who may hire you. Do not feel bad for denying a connection request.
5. We do not post your phone number, email address, or physical address. The only way you can be contacted, is through the system, from paid members only. When someone writes you a message, you are alerted from brian@dragonukconnects.com with a link that takes you back to the system to reply. No real email addresses are exchanged. DragonukConnects is not responsible for you revealing your private contact info through this channel.

Finally we put on every newsletter the following clause: "As always we can not check out every post. It is your responsibility to make sure of the legitimacy of the people involved in the notice you reply to. Never go Alone And NEVER, EVER agree to Pay anyone ANYTHING for Auditions or Jobs.
